[June 19th 2008 - Village Walk] Ruth Dodds writes: "On Thursday 19th June residents of Bardon Mill and Henshaw were treated to a wonderful village heritage walk, led by Fred Brooks, Libby Scott and David Reay; whose reminiscences and years of informed research combined to keep all who attended entertained and left us with a much more rounded knowledge of the history of the area and also left us keen to know more.  The event showed just how much history there is in the area and also accentuated for me the need to capture these memories for future generations – the possibility of losing this wealth of knowledge isn’t an option!"
